Perfectly machined, in spec, excellent quality
I live on the coast so I need stainless steel hardware to the greatest extent possible. Usually I prefer 316 SS for maximum corrosion resistance, but these are excellent if you're ok with 304. They are perfectly machined and fit exactly as they should, and the finish quality is very good. M5 is the size I use most frequently and these are a perfect match for my other M5s. I like the clear plastic box they came in because it's easy to see the screws inside, but it would have been better if they were labeled. I've learned the hard way that when you have 50 different options of screws in the hardware box, it can take some time to find the exact ones you're looking for. I just created my own label for them, which works great since the box is transparent.

    These are good machine screws for small projects. I ordered M3 x 10mm and they are a bit shorter than I expected. The total length is 9mm from the top of the head to the bottom of the screw (see the picture). For my project I needed something with around 8mm of the thread so they worked well. But if you need a bit longer threads, you should order longer screws.

    Perfect M3 screws. I use these for including in some of my 3d prints after I imbed threaded inserts. I really like the black stainless steel look as it blends in with the black filament that I use. The screws seem strong and I haven't had any problems with threading them into the inserts once everything is printed and ready to ship. I will look for more of these in the future.

    I measured these bolts extensively and they meet the advertised spec:

    Surface finish is good (typical finish that you would expect)

    Thread quality is very good

    Weight variance was under 1% per bolt

    Magnetism is strong, but this is no sign that these are not true 304 stainless as the thread forming process causes this

    Threads fit an M3 thread gauge

    Length and threaded portion on all screws varied by max +/- 0.2mm from median.
