It is new and normal pump.The inner shaft will be with a bit little little lubricant to ensure the motor is working well, If you are raising sensitive fish or aquatic plants, please use them in other tanks for a short time then move it into fish tanks. If the product suddenly stop working or make noises, which may caused by debris blockage. Please clean it regularly about, or add some olive oil on the rotor.

Problem & Troubleshooting:

The pump dead: Check the power source；Check the plug; Check if still any water; Check installation manual and Safety Instructions; if its still dead, try to contact the seller. The pump is noising: Calm down and clean the pump. The pump is working but flow insufficient: Check the control valve has been adjusted or not; Check the impeller is damaged or not; Check the pipe/strainer being stuck or not, Check if still any water; Check if the electricity is stable or not.
