Spend the extra more and pick a version with more reviews. Better yet, make sure those reviews includes pictures with a ruler for reference. This thing is highly inaccurate. At its widest opening which it’s stated is beyond a 1”, it only measures 13/16”. This is defiantly a case of “ you get what you pay for”. I might return it or I might turn it into a project and buff out the indicating marks are make my own.
Great concept. A little hard to slide and read… can't get in to some spots where you would like to use it. The nut or bolt to be sized must be completely exposed.
Item is defective because the index part that slides that shows the bolt size is completely missing/absent from the item sent me. I purchases this bolt gauge to quickly size SAE and metric bolt head size, without the index it is useless!
