Mastiha trees and similar varieties of this tree family are an essential part of maqui-type vegetation found in Mediterranean countries, but only in Chios tree and nature offer those precious mastiha “tears”.



STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Always store Mastiha in its original packaging, tightly closed. Keep in a dry & cool place that will not exceed 64°F or 18°C for up to one week.For periods longer than 7 days and during the summer, always store at below 57.2°F or 14°C.Exposure of Mastiha tears to light, heat, humidity & air may lead to alteration of the product form.Wrong storage may lead to Mastiha tears sticking to each other and becoming one hard mass.In this case, you can place it in the freezer for a few hours and then break it up, into smaller pieces or even powder, in order to consume it as desired.Any change of the form due to wrong storage conditions does not cause any alteration of its properties.
