Perhaps they improved quality from previous orders because gum seemed not to be old or stable or chipped. Even the candy on the inside was great, down to the rainbow ones in the strawberries! Will buy again
The crystals of flavored sugar on them and inside make these gum balls FANTASTIC! They are a good size and blow strong bubbles. Everything you want in a gumball is here. Our favorites are the strawberries and lemon. They are fairly expensive, tho. We splurge for special weekends, like when the Grands visit. Wish I could get a discount…
I had another brand of this recently and it was fresh and awesome. But not this. I don't know if this is actually “Dubble Bubble," because these were not only awful, but they were different. First, the awful: They should be ashamed of themselves for selling these. These are old, stale, hard, the candy shells are breaking off, and some are discolored. From age, I guess. The bag was ripped and as soon as I took it out of the shipping box, the candy shell pieces were spilling out of the hole in the bag. The flavor was off due to it all being stale. Now the "different:" In the good bag of these that I had recently (from another vendor), the strawberry, orange, and lemon had an external texture to the candy shell. On this bag, the orange and lemon do, but the strawberry had a smooth coating, which lead me to believe that these are not even the same manufacturer. All in all, this is a hard pass. I hate giving negative reviews, but these truly earned their one star rating.
This came in the mylar package (not a box) and a lot of the coating on the gum is crumbled and loose all through package, sticking to other gum balls. I have only tried a piece or two, but the foster kids are coming this weekend and it looks a mess. I will have to put it in a zip lock bag or something else. It was not what I expected to see. I would not buy it again.
Not the freshest. Still edible. These are not the seedlings I remember, in the center used to be actual black seed shaped candies. Now it's just colored, flavored sugar crystals. Blow pop has a similar product, but they tell you what's inside.

The package arrived, as you can see it looks repackaged and taped up. The gum balls are damaged. The coating is falling off, the balls are only half coated in some cases. We tried one, it was so hard and stale we couldn’t even chew it. Don’t waste your money !!
