The Procedure for Replacing the Flint

1. Simply compress the lateral edges of the lighter to facilitate its extraction from the casing.

2. Utilize a screwdriver to remove the base screws, exercising caution to avoid disturbing the spring mechanism.

3. Prior to reinstalling the flint, ensure to dislodge any residual particulate matter by gently tapping the device.

4. Carefully insert the replacement flint into the designated flint chamber.

5. Insert the flint into the threaded aperture and reposition the plunger accordingly. Subsequently, securely fasten the screw to its original position.

6. Return the lighter to its protective case. Conduct an ignition test to verify the successful completion of the flint replacement procedure.

The Procedure for Replacing the wick

1. Pop off the bottom cap, grab that cotton felt inside.

2. Fish out all the cotton balls – toss’em if they’re gunky.

3. Yank the old wired wick straight out from the bottom.

4. Slide your new wick down from the top ’til it pokes out.

5. Trim the wick length, then pack fresh cotton around it.

6. Screw the spring tight, fill her up with fuel, and spark away!
